There’s no better way to celebrate summer than with a delicious scoop! On Sunday, July 19, ice cream shops and chains nationwide are rolling out sweet deals for National Ice Cream Day — including some of our favorite Miami spots.
To help locals cool down with an ice-cold treat, we’ve gathered some of the best National Ice Cream deals in the Magic City:
Cry Baby Creamery

In celebration of the holiday, Cry Baby Creamery is serving up limited-time flavors like Humor Me, a strawberry sorbet swirled with vanilla bean ice cream and strawberry shortcake crumbs, as well as the Caramel Drumstick, with vanilla ice cream, housemade caramel, peanuts and chocolate flakes. Making the celebration even sweeter, all locations are offering $1 scoops from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 19.
Sunshine Coffee

On July 19th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., everyone’s invited to Sunshine Coffee’s North Beach location for a community social featuring signature soft serve, live DJ entertainment and a first taste of the brand’s new Greek yogurt bowls. This neighborhood happy hour is perfect for locals and visitors to stop by after the beach, meet up with friends and enjoy an afternoon of great music and frozen favorites.
Dairy Queen

Free Dilly Bars, anyone? DQ Rewards members can score the free frozen treat with any $1+ purchase placed through their app from July 13 through 19. There is a limit of one per person.
Pups on the Patio at Eight Bar Miami

Bring your pup along to this one-day celebration benefiting PAWS4you Animal Rescue at Eight Bar. From 4 to 6 p.m. on July 19th, you can expect ice cream-themed swag bags from Wag Spot, a Tito’s Handmade Vodka swag and treat bar, photo ops and a special menu for pups, including a Doggie Slider and Doggie Vanilla Ice Cream Cup. For humans, the bar mixes up The Float, a combination of Tito’s, house-made vanilla ice cream and root beer.
You must reserve in advance with a $10 ticket donation.
Maple & Ash

This Miami outpost serves an over-the-top Sundae Tower for guests to indulge in the nostalgia of feeling young, free and joyfully uninhibited, even if only for a few bites. The dessert is loaded with classic scoops of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry ice cream before being drenched in peanut butter sauce, chocolate-covered pretzels, gummy bears and Luxardo cherries. It’s a playful nod to Chef Danny Grant’s most cherished childhood memories.
