Movie tickets for just $4? It’s almost too good to be true.
This Sunday, August 27, participating theaters throughout Miami will be showing all movies in all formats for just $4 in honor of National Cinema Day.
It’s part of an effort put on by The Cinema Foundation, a non-profit arm of the National Association of Theater Owners, in order to entice people to head to theaters throughout the U.S. More than 3,000 theaters will be participating, including major chains such as Regal Cinemas and AMC, showing movies on over 30,000 screens at this discounted price.
“The first edition of National Cinema Day recorded over 8.1 million visitors to movie theatres across the country, setting the single day attendance record for 2022,” said Eduardo Acuna, CEO at Cineworld Group, parent company of Regal. “This year with $4 movies and a $4 concession combo, Regal hopes to welcome even more guests on National Cinema Day to see why we are ‘The Best Place to Watch a Movie!’”
If you’re behind on movies, blockbuster hits including Barbie, Oppenheimer, Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem are among the many films being shown with the deal.
To see if your local theater is among those participating, you can enter your ZIP code at National Cinema Day’s website, where you’ll also be able to see showtimes and purchase your tickets.
Please note: the $4 price does not include tax or ticket fees.
