The countdown to the FIFA World Cup is officially on, and if stepping on the pitch sounds like a dream come true, then we’ve got a job for you.
As the official beer sponsor of the tournament, Michelob ULTRA is teaming up with comedian Kevin Hart to hire a “Superior Player of the Match Chief Trophy Officer” this summer. The mission is simple: deliver the match trophy at the World Cup Final and you’ll be paid a staggering $90,000 for just 90 minutes of work. Seriously!
A unique job opportunity
As Chief Trophy Officer, you’ll be tasked with working the final at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, July 19th. You’ll be on the clock for exactly 90 minutes to carry the newly designed Superior Player of the Match trophy (created by artist Victor Solomon) that will be awarded to a standout player.
You’ll also be given a three-night hotel stay in New York City, transportation and bragging rights for life.
If that’s not enough, the gig comes with two tickets to the match, so you can participate and witness one of the most historic sporting events heading to U.S. soil!
How to apply
The brand is on the lookout for a passionate fan who can handle the spotlight and deliver the hardware on the world’s biggest stage. If you have what it takes, you must be a U.S. resident aged 21 or older, and have until Friday, May 29 to submit the application.
Candidates are being asked to record a 90-second video explaining why they are the perfect fit for the job. Submissions can be made via their website or by posting on social media and tagging @MichelobULTRA with the hashtags #ULTRACTO and #contest.
Just remember to let your personality and true passion for the game shine!
