The 2026 FIFA World Cup is almost upon us, with Miami getting ready to welcome a massive wave of visitors for the seven matches set to take place at the Hard Rock Stadium. Of course, this includes preparing for packed streets and heavy demand around the tournament.
To keep things moving, Miami-Dade County is launching a free shuttle service to transport fans to the games as a way to avoid driving and parking stress altogether.
Getting fans to the stadium
Dubbed the Miami Game Day Express, the shuttle service will operate from four transit hubs across South Florida, acting as main access points to the stadium. These include:
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza Metrorail Station
- Golden Glades Multimodal Transit Station/Tri-Rail
- Aventura Brightline Station
- Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Fans can access these hubs through existing regional transit networks like Metrorail, Metrobus, Tri-Rail, Brightline, rideshares and park-and-ride facilities.

Simple and entirely free travel
On match days, the Miami Game Day Express will operate exclusively for verified ticket holders on a first-come, first-served basis to handle the surge of passengers.
Additionally, the Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) is coordinating closely with regional transportation and mobility partners like Tri-Rail and Brightline, linking communities all the way from Orlando, Palm Beach and Broward counties directly to the shuttle hubs.
“Our focus is on helping fans travel safely and efficiently on game days and throughout their visit, while minimizing impacts on residents and the surrounding community. The Miami Game Day Express hubs are designed to connect riders across multiple transportation systems and provide a reliable, convenient path to the stadium,” said Stacy L. Miller, director and CEO of the DTPW.
Additional details on expanded transit hours and mobility options for Bayfront Park’s upcoming FIFA Fan Fest will be released in the coming weeks. Visit www.miamidade.gov for more information.
