There’s a couple of new stars in town! During a live ceremony at the Tampa EDITION hotel on Thursday night, Michelin announced its winners for the third edition of its coveted Florida Michelin Guide. And just like years prior, Miami restaurants dominated with starred reviews and Bib Gourmands, compared to Orlando and Tampa.
Many 2023 winners maintained their stars, including L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon which remains at the top of the list with its two-star status. And a total of three one-star winners in Miami were added to the list for the first time this year: EntreNos, Ogawa and Shingo.
According to the guide, one star is “worth a stop,” two stars is “worth a detour,” and three stars (the most a restaurant can receive) is “worth a special journey.” There is also the Bib Gourmand status, recognizing more moderately priced destinations. These are restaurants where one can have two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for about $50.
