With a thriving culinary scene like Miami’s, our steakhouse options are up there when it comes to the city’s best food offerings. And we can’t say we’re surprised when any of our prized establishments make it onto lists of the very best across the continent.
If you’re on the lookout for the juiciest slabs of meat — wood-grilled or seared to perfection — there’s plenty of dining destinations to choose from, and now, two popular spots have even more bragging rights after being recognized among the best in North America!
Just a couple of months after opening in Coral Gables, Daniel’s Miami cemented its place at No. 9 on the World’s Best 101 Steak Restaurants, making it one of the Top 10. It is the highest-rated steakhouse in Florida on the list and sister concept to the Fort Lauderdale Daniel’s, boasting a premium steak program with cuts from globally-renowned ranches, in addition to classic Italian dishes and local seafood.

Daniel’s was also selected as a host venue for The Rare Tour, an internationally acclaimed dining series from the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, as it was the first time the event was held in the U.S.
Over in Little River, Sunny’s Steakhouse is already Michelin-recognized, but currently has a ranking of No. 23 on the World’s Best list. Beginning as a popular pandemic pop-up before opening in the fall of 2024, this modern steakhouse has garnered recognition on The New York Times’ 50 Best and Esquire’s list of Best New Restaurants in 2025 for its wood-fired meats, particularly the wagyu skirt steak, and beloved Parker House rolls.

As for which restaurants topped the North American list, Asador Bastian in Chicago was crowned with the coveted title, followed by COTE in New York at No. 2 and Jeffrey’s in Austin at No. 3. You can see the full ranking below:
📍 You can find Daniel’s at 1500 San Ignacio Ave, Coral Gables, FL 33146, and Sunny’s Steakhouse at 7357 NW Miami Ct, Miami, FL 33150.
