One way is through the culinary scene, with several establishments stepping up to support the relief efforts from afar, whether acting as donation drop-off centers or sending proceeds to charity.
Across Miami Slice Hospitality’s roster of popular restaurants serving pizza slices and late-night arepas, they are donating $1 from specific food items directly to Venezuelan earthquake relief funds. Here’s how you can dine out for a cause this month and support local businesses in the process:

If you needed another excuse to brave the line at any of Miami Slice’s locations in downtown Miami or Key Biscayne, this is it. The artisan NY-style slice shop is taking $1 per every margherita slice sold straight to relief organizations. This includes dine-in and takeout orders.

Whether you’re grabbing a Gables café crème or sitting down for their famous French toast, your brunch run can double as a donation. For the month of July, this all-day brunch spot is directing $1 per every French toast sold — dine-in, takeout or Uber Eats — will be given to Venezuela relief organizations.

This Midtown arepera that’s been curing locals’ late-night cravings with authentic Venezuelan comfort food for over a decade is not only donating proceeds but serving as a physical drop-off location. For every pabellon arepa sold this month, $1 will be donated toward a Venezuelan organization.
Plus, in partnership with Global Empowerment Mission (GEM), you can bring non-perishable foods, first aid kits and heavy-duty batteries when you arrive to pick up your food!
