Are there any local restaurants you’ve been meaning to try, but haven’t gotten around to making a reservation? Or perhaps you’ve been thinking about paying a visit to an old favorite. As Latin Restaurant Weeks nears its yearly comeback, now’s your chance to add some sazón to your dinner plans!
Coinciding with Hispanic Heritage Month, Latin Restaurant Weeks is gracing the city with special deals for brunch, lunch and dinner at Latin-owned eateries across South Florida.
For two weeks only, participating food spots will offer exclusive specials, limited menus, or various options like prix-fixe offerings and discounts for eager eaters. The yearly event was established in 2019 and is sponsored by Stella Artois and U.S. Bank/Elavon in partnership with Feed the Soul Foundation. It highlights numerous restaurants, bakeries, chefs, bartenders and food trucks — all showcasing the diversity and talent of Miami’s culinary scene.
In an effort to amplify these businesses, the campaign highlights the various Latin regions represented in Miami’s melting pot of cultures and introduces both locals and visitors to the people and businesses behind these cuisines. Establishments are encouraged to create menus that authentically represent their cultural fair and aim to attract new business patrons.
Among the participating restaurants this year are Casa 305, Sabores Argentinos, Cana Wine Shop, OMG Brigadeiros, Las Vegas Cuban Cuisine, TeQuiztlan and Ecléctico Restaurant & Bar.
You’ll also find Tacology, El Atlakat, Bulla Gastrobar, Madrid Tapas y Vino, Santo Dulce Churros and Ice Cream, Pinecrest Bakery, Crudos Fusion Art and so much more. It’s a fantastic opportunity to discover hidden culinary gems without breaking the bank!
“We’re so excited about the growth and the impact it’s making in the community,” said Karinn Chavarria, co-founder of Latin Restaurant Weeks. “Latin Restaurant Weeks goes beyond being a marketing vehicle; it fosters connections for restaurateurs, granting them access to vital resources, industry experts and financial assistance opportunities.”
Latin Restaurant Weeks runs September 15 through September 29. More information and participating restaurants can be found at latinrestaurantweeks.com.
