Listen up beer aficionados! It’s time to grab a stein and put on your lederhosen because Wynwood’s Octoberfest is fast approaching. It’s the perfect excuse to day drink with friends and celebrate the arrival of the fall season — as if you really needed a reason.
Presented by Samuel Adams, the popular beer fest is coming back to the neighborhood for its 13th edition from Friday, September 29, to Sunday, October 1. Octoberfest will transform Wynwood into a fusion of Germany’s largest festival for a weekend, literally turning the Marketplace into a traditional Bavarian Bierhaus.
Much like the original party in Munich — after all, we can’t let Germans have all the fun — festival-goers will enjoy photo ops, live music and DJs, seasonal Samuel Adams brews, bratwurst, boots, beer games and more. In addition to stein competitions, there will be beer hall games like corn hole and giant Jenga to enjoy.
The event is free for 21+ guests, and those who want to go all out can purchase Festive Party Packs for $14. The packs feature a beer ticket, stein mug and a Samuel Adams hat.
The full schedule of activities will be released in the coming weeks so check back here for updates. In the meantime, you can visit Wynwood’s Octoberfest website for more information by clicking here.
