Miami audiences are no strangers to beloved musicals, thanks to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and its milestone 20 years of Broadway in Miami, alongside Broadway Across America. And now, an incredible jukebox musical is having its South Florida premiere right here in the city!
Arriving in time to ring in the new year, & Juliet is set to reimagine Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, without the horrific ending. We all know that the timeless classic ends in tragedy, but what if it didn’t? In other words, what would happen if Juliet decided not to cut her life short?

Not only can attendees expect lively dance numbers and a vibrant set, but the playlist has quite the number of chart-topping pop anthems, from Britney Spears’ “…Baby One More Time” to Katy Perry’s “Roar,” and other iconic tunes from genius songwriter and producer Max Martin like “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”

They can also expect a hometown connection within the cast, as University of Miami graduate Joseph Torres stars as Romeo in the national tour!
Described as one of Broadway’s biggest parties and created by the Emmy-winning writer of Schitt’s Creek, the hilarious musical follows the fabulous journey of Juliet as she ditches her famous ending for a second chance at life and love… her way. Since debuting in 2019, & Juliet has been a global hit, performing across four continents and winning three Olivier Awards in London’s West End. It has consistently broken box office records, first in Toronto and currently on Broadway, where it continues to play to sold-out crowds.
