Move aside Art Week, the MLS Cup is just days away and football enthusiasts from all over will soon be flocking to Fort Lauderdale for the historic match! After a resounding 5-1 win over NYCFC in the Eastern Conference final, Inter Miami will welcome the Vancouver Whitecaps for the championship game, set for Saturday.
It’ll be a spectacular showdown of global icons, with Miami’s Lionel Messi against Vancouver’s Thomas Müller, as the two clubs battle it out for the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy. It’s a massive deal for Miami, who clinched a spot in the club’s first-ever MLS Cup after winning the 2023 Leagues Cup and the Supporters’ Shield last year.
The competition gives Messi a chance to win his third trophy with the team, and it will be the last for both Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, who are retiring at the end of the season.
When and where is the 2025 MLS Cup?
The final is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at 2:30 p.m. It will be played at the home of Inter Miami, Chase Stadium, due to their better regular-season record.
📍 1350 NW 55th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.
