Hay Maze Miami will give you all the autumn vibes without the pesky sweaters.
If you thought you’d never see fall foliage and pumpkin everything in sunny Miami then you might want to think again because fall is about to explode in the Magic City.
Starting Friday, October 22, fall will be disembarking in Miami in all its auburn glory thanks to Hay Maze’s pop-up. This autumnal immersive experience is bringing all the treasured fall traditions from the northeast into South Florida with activities for the whole family — Think haystacks, pumpkin galore, fall foliage, and more.
As you’ve probably noticed from its name, the star of Hay Maze’s show will be a giant, 80-foot by 80-foot hay maze inspired by the Halloween corn mazes of the northeast. The maze will be filled with endless surprises for those who enter it as well as plenty of photo-worthy opportunities to give your feeds a total fall makeover.
Hay Maze is also bringing all the fall foliage down to the 305 so that you can frolic, swim, or simply do your thing amongst piles of golden, auburn and red leaves without having to deal with the cumbersome crisp autumn air. The pop-up will feature a one-of-a-kind leaf pit full to the brim with vibrant fall leaves. Kind of like a ball pit pero like make it fall.
Additional fall-inspired photo-ops will also be available including haystacks, scarecrows, sunflowers, and a giant pumpkin wall.
For those over 21, there will also be a comfy beer garden with an open bar package for adults in which you’ll be able to sample seasonal beers, local brews and other specially curated spirits.
Hay Maze totally fall-tastic pop-up could not, of course, go without fall and pumpkin-themed treats and so there will be plenty of pumpkin beers, pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, pumpkin cupcakes, candy corn, and fall-inspired snow cones to keep you fueled throughout your time in the maze.
And, if you’re still looking for things to do this Halloween [link things to do Halloween], Hay Maze is also holding a special night event full of monsters, witches, and ghouls during which you’ll be able to make your way through the maze collecting sweet treats. Just beware of what may be lurking around the corner!
Hay Maze will make its debut on Biscayne Boulevard on Friday, October 22, and will stick around until Sunday, November 7, opening every Friday through Sunday from 1 to 10 p.m. Tickets are already on sale and go for $10 the general admission and $50 if you book the beer garden.
