Who doesn’t love a good scavenger hunt? With the arrival of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the many fans descending upon the city, Miami Beach is transforming its public spaces into an interactive celebration of global soccer this summer.
Titled Arena of Nations, a series of 48 inflatable soccer balls are landing across parks, streets, music venues and more, waiting for you to find them all. Each 16-foot structure will represent one of the tournament’s qualifying nations and installed fully by June 5. They’ll remain on display for the duration of the tournament until July 19, which should give you more than enough time to find them!
The real fun comes down to a mission-style game powered by Badger, in which visitors snap photos or videos of each soccer ball they come across and upload them to a live global feed. A “surge” system will track activity, highlighting the most passionate fanbases in real time.
Featuring more teams than ever before, the 2026 World Cup will deliver seven matches to Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium — including a bronze final — beginning on June 11. In addition to the many watch parties and special events taking over the city, the colorful Miami Beach sign at Ocean Drive and 5th Street has been surrounded by 48 vibrant flags representing each country. It’s another perfect spot to join the excitement and capture photo ops.
You can find a map of the oversized soccer balls to help you along the way on the Miami Beach website.
