While the original F*ck Art debuted in New York in 2012, this 2026 edition is built entirely around Miami’s “subtropical spirit.” Featuring over 30 local artists, including Ana María Caballero, Cheryl Pope and Justyna Kisielewicz, the show explores how bodies, desire and identity are shaped by our unique environment.

A new way to experience art
The works take the form of painting, textiles, sculpture, photography and digital media, and are displayed at an intimate scale within glass vitrines. This isn’t just for aesthetics (although it does look great); the format is designed to mimic the way we “browse” and consume information today: each piece is encountered momentarily, then replaced by the next, much like a digital feed.

In a city constantly negotiating between its natural beauty and hyper-digital culture, the exhibition tackles heavy-hitting themes of surveillance, censorship and intimacy. It’s a powerful look at the tension between our physical experiences and our mediated lives in contemporary Miami.
