Utopia: Three Centuries of Sexuality in American Cults and Communes (Opening May 7, 2026): Curated by filmmaker Jodi Wille, this expansive, two-story exhibition is the first of its kind to trace three centuries of sexuality, relationships, and identity within America’s utopian and alternative spiritual movements. Bringing together over 300 rare artifacts, photographs, and films, it explores how groups—from the Shakers to The Source Family—redefined intimacy and community.
F*CK Art 2026: Nature & Artifice: A dynamic group exhibition featuring more than 30 Miami-based artists exploring contemporary perspectives on sex and sexuality through the lens of the erotic body.
Modern Sex: 100 Years of Design and Decency: This exhibit showcases over 500 objects from the 1920s to today. It’s a fascinating look at the evolution of sexual health products, from vintage “feminine hygiene” items to retro vibrators, documenting how shifting social norms have shaped consumer freedom and desire.
Super Funland: journey into the erotic carnival
Prepare to let loose in the museum’s exhilarating, permanent fixture: an electrifying, adult-only carnival. This interactive playground is a firm fan-favorite dedicated to the colorful and erotic history of the funfair. Expect interactive amusements like an adult-themed bouncy house, a mechanical bull and a claw machine where special prizes are up for grabs!
The ultimate spectacle is Merlandia, an immersive, multi-media experience culminating in a stunning 40-foot “rococo-style” mermaid tank. Inspired by Slavador Dali’s “Dream of Venus” and drawing on Florida’s mermaid performance history, it’s a unique blend of fun, seduction, and beauty.

Museum of Sex Miami is an extraordinary experience you won’t want to miss. General admission starts at around $29-$35 (certain rides, like the bull, are an extra $5). It’s open most days from 1:00 PM, staying open late until 10:00 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday), and until 12:00 AM on Friday and Saturday for the ultimate night out.
