Here’s your ultimate guide to celebrating the 4th of July in Miami:

Every year, Independence Day lights up our night skies with blue and red, from downtown Miami to Homestead. We’ve put together the most dazzling firework displays across Bayfront Park, Lummus Park, Tropical Park and more, below.

Celebrate 250 years of America and 130 years of Miami with this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The National Archives’ traveling exhibit, “Freedom Plane: Documents that Forged a Nation,” has landed in the 305, giving visitors an up-close look at the foundational artifacts that shaped the country, like the Treaty of Paris and the Declaration of Independence engraving.
Museum of Miami, formerly HistoryMiami Museum, is one of just eight institutions displaying the traveling exhibition.

Spin into this year’s festivities at the Miami Beach Bandshell! Starting at 5 p.m., skate hosts All Skates Go To Heaven and DJs Kumi and Zac are turning up the tunes for a free roller disco. Bring your own skates and blades, or rent a pair on-site (free for Miami Beach residents with a valid ID). If skating isn’t your speed, you can still catch the vibes and music from the Club Box Deck. Just remember to RSVP!
