Billboard Latin Music Week, the biggest Latin music industry gathering in the world, has announced that the ultimate celebration of Latin entertainment and culture is returning to Miami Beach’s Faena Forum next month and Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma is joining the illustrious lineup of artists hitting the stage.
Known for his chart-topping hits, Maluma will be launching his new record label — Royalty Records — during the week which coincides with National Hispanic Heritage Month. He’ll also be presenting new music, business ventures, and branding releases.
He joins the previously announced star-studded talent that are set to perform: Camilo, Romeo Santos, Grupo Firme, Chayanne, Nicky Jam, Ivy Queen, Ovy On The Drums, The Children of Jenni Rivera, Bizarrap, Luis R Conriquez, Eslabón Armado, Blessd, Kunno, and Yahritza Y Su Esencia. More artists have yet to be announced in the weeks leading up to the Latin Music Week.
This year’s event is themed ‘Latin Goes Global’ and is jam-packed with workshops, performances, panels, exclusive conversations with artists, activations, and networking opportunities. For over 30 years, this has been the longest-running Latin music industry gathering in the world, uniting generations of talent with fans and garnering billions of press hits, engagements, and viewership globally.
Of course, the week is taking place alongside 2022 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday, September 29 in Miami, which will broadcast live on Telemundo. The awards show will also broadcast simultaneously on the Spanish entertainment cable network, Universo, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.
