There’s nothing quite like a delicious breakfast. After all, it’s the most important meal of the day. From fulfilling French toast to vegan offerings, choosing the right breakfast can prepare you for the day ahead. Luckily for us breakfast lovers, Miami offers a variety of tasty spots to choose from. Check them out!
1. Chug’s Diner, Coconut Grove
Chef Michael Beltran’s spot boasts several accolades, including a Michelin Bib Gourmand Award and the title of Best Cuban Restaurant in Miami by USA Today 10Best. An American diner with a Cuban spin, Chug’s serves delicious all day breakfast, seven days a week, from pan con croqueta to pastelitos and everything in between.

2. Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar, multiple locations
No matter where you’re looking for breakfast, you’re sure to find a Crema nearby. With more than 10 locations and counting, the European-style cafe has quickly become a local favorite with its crowd-pleasing menu of fresh juices, coffee and smoothies, sandwiches, all-day breakfast and more. For those wanting a healthier route, opt for Greek yogurt or an açaí bowl, while those craving something a bit more hearty can order the pancakes topped with scrambled eggs and bacon, drizzled with maple syrup.

3. Greenstreet Cafe, Coconut Grove
Greenstreet Cafe’s breakfast is out of this world. Their menu is filled with espresso drinks and oversized omelettes, but the stars of the show are its stacks of pancakes, from cinnamon roll to red velvet pancakes. They also whip up pretty thick French toasts, whether you prefer yours filled with Nutella or coconut crusted.

4. SoBe Vegan, Miami Beach
One of the more colorful spots on this list, with their food offerings just as vibrant like açaí bowls and juices, SoBe Vegan is known for its plant-based items and all-natural menu. Helmed by chef Horacio Rivadero, a plant-based eater himself, visitors are able to enjoy flavorful meals without compromising on taste. Rivadero takes a latin staple such as picadillo (ground beef), and creatively incorporates walnuts to create a rich and nutritious vegan dish, for example.

5. Caffè & Bottega, Downtown Miami
Caffè & Bottega’s dulce de leche waffles, pistachio croissants and perfect cups of coffee should definitely be on your breakfast bucket list. Located in The Grand DoubleTree, where one of our favorite waterfront restaurants also resides, Casablanca On The Bay, there’s plenty of salads, omelets and a large variety of smoothies to choose from at this boutique brunch corner.
