It’s never too early to start planning your next vacation. For summer of next year, that is…. American Airlines has recently unveiled a list of brand-new routes for its summer 2025 schedule, and it’s taking all of our dream European escapes one step closer to becoming reality. As it continues to grow its transatlantic service, the airline announced routes to several European destinations, including Italy, Greece, Spain and Scotland, while also expanding popular routes.
This includes new daily service between MIA and Rome’s Fiumicino Airport (FCO), which will begin in 2025. In fact, Miami will become the 6th U.S. airport with American Airlines direct flights to the Italian capital — more than any other domestic airline!
Flights from Miami to Rome will start on July 5 and operate on Boeing 777-200 aircrafts, , allowing customers to expand their travel options with a seamless flight experience.
The carrier also announced that it will be extending service between MIA and Paris (CDG) into the summer season, which has only historically operated as a winter seasonal flight. This will be on a Boeing 787-8.
In a press release, American’s Senior Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning Brian Znotins stated:
“We look forward to providing customers more ways to visit their favorite destinations in Europe next summer.”
Tickets for the new routes next year will go on sale from Monday, September 9, both on aa.com and the American mobile app. When you decide to book, don’t forget to say ciao to our friends at Secret Roma!
