You can’t deny that Miami is unmatched when it comes to all things culinary, with some top spots to dine at being found inside food halls. And luckily for us, a brand-new foodie destination is set to open in Coral Gables this summer.
Residing at The Plaza Coral Gables, Zuccaly will span 8,000 square feet of six Italian food stations all under one roof — Pasta and Risotto, LaBiga Pizza and Focaccia, Grilling Steaks and Fish, Il Giardino, PortaVia Gastro Market and Dolci. The arrival of the 200-seat venue, operated by the Da Silva Hospitality Group, will mark the neighborhood’s first-ever Italian food hall.

Inside, a palette of warm yellows, earthy oranges and deep greens will evoke the sun-drenched landscapes of the Tuscan countryside, alongside culinary stations and glowing ovens serving as focal points.
Six food stations at Zuccaly

Helmed by corporate chef Manuel Garcia, who has overseen the kitchen at Zucca for the past nine years, guests can expect six different culinary stations that plan on taking their taste buds through Europe:
- LaBiga Pizza and Focaccia: Showcasing Roman-style pizza al taglio utilizing traditional, slow-fermented biga for a lighter crust.
- PortaVia Gastromarket: A deli and grab-and-go counter offering house-made sauces, Wagyu carpaccio, fresh burrata and ready-to-serve classics.
- Pasta and Risotto: Serving freshly made, in-house pastas like lasagna and cannelloni layered with traditional sauces.
- Grilling Steaks and Fish: Preparing selected meats and seafood over charcoal and live-wood fires.
- Il Giardino: Offers fresh salads and Italian street food meant for sharing or taking to go.
- Dolci: Featuring artisanal desserts and house-made gelato, including tiramisu variations, bomboloni and more.

About the drinks
There are also plans for a full bar focused on classic Italian cocktails and original creations inspired by Mediterranean spirits. Think Negronis, Americanos and Spritzes, in addition to a dedicated coffee program with espresso beverages and cold coffee creations.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, the space will offer a weekday 2-for-1 Happy Hour from Monday through Friday, catering to locals gathering after work.

While no specific date has been announced, Zuccaly is expected to open sometime in the summer of 2026. You can follow along with updates about the food hall on its Instagram.
