Stressful times call for yoga classes and luckily for us, there are tons of prominent studios across Miami that offer them for all levels and practitioner types. However, finding which one is the best fit does require a bit of a workout so we put together a list of ones that we really enjoy to help you out.
Whether you want to pick a studio based on its aesthetic or the type of sessions offered — heated or not — here is a list of 12 yoga studios across the city to help you best find some inner peace. Namaste!
1. SOL Yoga, Wynwood
A modern take on the traditional, SOL Yoga is a state-of-the-art infrared-heated studio located in Wynwood. Its minimalist setting with gold lighting and infrared panels that gently warm the room allows for a full-body detox as you stretch and flow. According to founder Cathy DeFrancesco, SOL’s mantra is “to feel good here” so you’re in safe hands there, no matter if you’re a newbie or seasoned yogi.

2. Mimi Yoga, Wynwood
New to the scene, Mimi Yoga is a hot yoga studio founded by certified yoga teacher Mimi Ghandour. Before even setting foot on a mat, an immediate sea of serenity will wash over you as you take in its stunning aquamarine travertine floors, ocean blue walls and the warm glow of illuminated mirrors. Fit for all levels, they offer power vinyasa, vinyasa flow and restorative flows, and each class ends with a complimentary rose-essential oil infused towel placed on students’ foreheads during the final resting pose, savasana.

3. Hanu Yoga, Miami Beach
Previously known as Green Monkey, Hanu Yoga specializes in vinyasa, heated and Hatha yoga, breathwork practices and more for a better you. The bright and modern studio is 4,000 square feet, making it one of the city’s largest and the perfect place to meditate, focus and feel bliss. They offer multiple classes — groups or private — and host all kinds of workshops, events and even a Teacher Training Certification Program for teachers in the making.

4. Glassbox Ironside
Although Glassbox is an event space for all kinds of activities, it’s actually home to many weekly morning yoga which makes it a pretty ideal yoga studio! Plus, its design allows for natural light to flow into the room throughout the day. On Mondays through Fridays, there’s 9 a.m. Anahata yoga; and their Kundalini yoga classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am and Saturdays at 10 a.m.

5. OM Movement, Coconut Grove
Another hotspot famous for its yoga is OM Movement, a movement studio that has many different classes to offer for the very skilled and those just beginning. If you’re looking for a challenge, this is definitely the place for you. The minimalistic setting is the perfect place to start your day with experienced instructors and courses ranging from vinyasa and meditation to animal flow and alignment practices.

6. Fuze House, Sunset Harbour
Nourish your mind, body and soul at this stunning fitness center located in Miami Beach. Created by instructor Elisa Kaylin, you’ll find various Pilates and sculpting classes here, but the infrared-heated space also makes room for hot yoga. Choose from a vinyasa flow or power vinyasa for a workout that will make you sweat to the max! There’s even a ‘Candlelit Restorative’ and a ‘Yin & Sound’ class for even deeper relaxation.

7. Modo Yoga, Miami Beach
It appears hot yoga has become quite the rave in the Magic City, and one of the more popular studios that practices the sacred art form is Modo Yoga. With multiple locations internationally (but just one in Miami), they have everything from a gentle ‘Yin’ class to a ‘Ballet Body Flow’ that will make you break a sweat!

8. Core Lab, Key Biscayne
This boutique fitness studio is an excellent spot for yogis to practice and develop their skills while strengthening their bodies from the ‘core.’ Located on the first floor of Key Biscayne Galleria plaza, this sleek studio focuses on small and intimate classes, from restorative and hatha to vinyasa and upbeat power yoga, as you flow to the rhythm of the music.

9. Ahana Yoga, Miami Design District
How about tapping into your inner peace both indoors and outdoors? Founded by Dawn Feinberg and bringing together some of the most mindful instructors, there’s something for everyone at this much-loved yoga studio with daily classes ranging from Ahana flow to restorative. Each one begins and ends with a chant to relax the body and mind.

10. Casa Vinyasa, South Miami
Bringing the heat to Miami, Casa Vinyasa offers heated and non-heated classes that will leave you ready to face the day. We’re talking vinyasa flows connecting movement with breath, meditative restorative yoga, sculpt yoga with light free weights, passive Yin yoga, and Yogalette (which is based off of scientific research that will stretch and lengthen your entire body). 11. YO BK, Wynwood
Found within Oasis Wynwood, YO BK has a reputation for workouts that push the body while bringing in great vibes. From HIIT with weights to Yin-style yoga, there’s a class style for anyone to enjoy. The facility has infrared heaters, tons of natural light and of course, a groovy disco ball! It’s also conveniently located next to Novela Cafe Social, which comes in handy for a bite or drink right after.

12. Miami Life Center, Wynwood
Ashtanga yoga is a powerful tool to help you attain mindfulness and build a deeper connection with your mind and body. And there’s no better place than Miami Life Center to achieve that, whether you’re being introduced to the practice or an advanced yogi. Since its inception in 2006, Miami Life Center founders Tim Feldmann and Kino MacGregor have certainly helped many students live a mindful life. They offer a wide range of yoga classes like Mysore style, vinyasa, yin yoga, Ashtanga and breath work — all you need to do is show up on the mat!
