The Super Bowl LIX may be taking place in New Orleans this year, but that doesn’t mean local fans can’t revel in the festivities! Verizon is teaming up with the NFL to bring the first-ever FanFest to Miami on Sunday, February 9.
Beginning at 4:30 p.m., this ultimate watch party will take over the Hard Rock Stadium to provide a fun way to catch the big game as it’s broadcasted from the Caesars Superdome (with English and Spanish broadcasts). The main event kicks off at 6:30 p.m., and don’t forget about the halftime show featuring Kendrick Lamar!
Attendees of all ages can join Hall of Famer Jason Taylor, along with other notable former players and Dolphin Cheerleaders. Additionally, the event will be stacked with fun-filled engagements like football challenges, meet and greets, live musical performers and food and drinks from locally-owned businesses!
The Hard Rock Stadium is just one of 30 NFL venues across the U.S. participating in the February event. In select cities, football fans will also be able to take selfies from the 50-yard line, tour locker rooms, spike a ball in the end zone or purchase exclusive team memorabilia.
“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year, but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget,” Leslie Berland, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, said in a statement.
Tickets to Verizon’s FanFest are free of charge, but are limited on a first-come first-serve basis — so you better act fast! You can also bring a select number of guests. Visit their website for more information.
