Welcome back Brits!
It’s especially exciting news for those with family across the pond, as it will have been 18 months since Donald Trump first imposed a travel ban on UK travellers.
Passengers will be required to show proof of vaccination along with a negative COVID-19 test within three days of their departure.
According to BBC, the news has already made a significant impact towards “travel recovery” as “Airline shares rose in response to the new travel rules, with British Airways owner IAG up as much as 10%.”
Hopefully as a result, New York can expect it’s booming return of tourism that has always brought in a substantial income for the city.
