As we look ahead to summer, Universal Orlando Resort is offering the perfect way to cool down with the return of Volcano Bay Nights, an exclusive after-hours event at its very own water park!
Taking place on select evenings from May 3 through August 21, this event lets you enjoy all the tropical thrills of Volcano Bay with lesser crowds after dark. It officially kicks off at 7 p.m. each night, but your ticket gets you into the park as early as 4 p.m., which means three bonus hours before the party even begins!
One of the biggest draws of Volcano Bay Nights is the shorter wait times, meaning you can practically walk onto the park’s best rides. Make a splash through the twists and turns of Krakatau Aqua Coaster or take the plunging leap of faith on the Ko’okiri Body Plunge, all without typical peak-season lines.
Plus, the shores of Waturi Beach will transform into an evening bash complete with rare character appearances and a live DJ to provide the soundtrack. Yes, we’re talking meet-and-greets with beloved DreamWorks characters from Shrek and Madagascar that make for the perfect family photos.
To keep you fueled, your ticket also brings you complimentary snacks and drinks like Blue Raspberry Churro Bites, Garlic Parmesan-Flavored Popcorn and a Volcano Bay Freestyle Souvenir Cup with unlimited Coca-Cola refills. Of course, other food items are available for purchase around the park.

Universal Volcano Bay Nights will take place on the following dates from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.:
- May 3, 10, 17, 22 and 31
- June 5, 12, 18 and 25
- July 10 and 17
- August 7, 14 and 21
Tickets are currently available at $99 plus tax per guests, including parking. Passholders also receive a 10% discount. These are limited, so grab them while you can by visiting their website!
