Just in time for summer, True Food Kitchen’s newest location — and most requested — has finally opened its doors at The Falls! Backed by media mogul Oprah Winfrey (who is also an investor) and co-founded by integrative medicine expert, Dr. Andrew Weil, the restaurant incorporates a healthy menu inspired by Dr. Weils anti-inflammatory food pyramid that aims to prevent chronic inflammation and focuses on foods that help maintain optimal health.
Think a crave-able organic tuscan kale salad, spaghetti squash casserole, a bowl of ancient grains, grass-fed burger, and edamame dumplings among many other options for lunch, dinner, or a weekend brunch. Undoubtedly, their flavor-forward menu showcases clean, seasonal and organic food with plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options served alongside sustainable wine, local beer, and cocktails with fresh-pressed juices and natural refreshers.
Take a look at the inside of this massive restaurant which features 385 seats:
Decked in Earthy greens like its healthy dishes, True Food Kitchen’s dining room is anchored by an open kitchen concept that invites you to get a closer look at all culinary creations. Moreover, it’s complete with a hand painted whimsical wall mural by local artist Cinthia “Cynno” Santos of Chalk and Brush.
Christine Barone, the CEO of True Food Kitchen, says: “The Falls is the perfect setting for us to inspire our new neighbors to eat better, feel better, and live better throughout our diverse and fresh menu.”
We couldn’t be happier that True Food Kitchen is here! They operate 42 locations in 17 states, 6 of which are in Florida, and this is the very first spot in Miami. There’s even a private dining room to accommodate up to 8 guests, a separate To-Go entrance, and a full service bar.
They are now open in The Falls, 888 SW 136th Street, from Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
