Flamingos, neon vibes and pastelito cocktails — Here’s everything Downtown’s new Tispy Flamingo has to offer.
A little pink birdie told us a new Miami-themed bar is offering cocktails that taste like pastelitos de guayaba and now we kinda want to go try it! Tipsy Flamingo is the newest addition to Downtown Miami’s bar scene and it’s bringing on major Miami vice vibes, Miami-themed cocktails and a lot of flamingos.
Created by the team behind Redbar Drink Company and Sweet Caroline Karaoke bar, the new bar mixes craft cocktails and upscale lounge vibes with a vivid Miami theme. And when we say vivid we mean bright pink everything, plenty of fake foliage and palm leaves, and of course neon galore.
“Basically, we took the best characteristics of Miami from the tropical ambiance and colors to the sounds and blended them together to create a unique and intimate venue,” said co-owner Juan Marcos Rancano in a press release.
The bar’s carefully crafted cocktail menu is also Miami-themed and includes concoctions such as the Downtown Mentirita, Tipsy Flamingo’s take on a classic Cuba Libre, the Tipsy Colada made with rum, salted caramel and, of course, coffee, and the My English is Not Very Good Looking, featuring guava marmalade, lime juice, orange bitters, cream cheese foam, Galleta Maria crumbs, and which reportedly tastes like a pastelito!
As the night goes on, Tipsy Flamingo turns into a late-night lounge where you can enjoy the latest hip hop, funk and reggaeton hits spun by local DJS. The bar also offers daily specials such as ladies’ night every Tuesday from 8 to 11 p.m., Comedy Nights on Sundays and daily Happy Hours from 5 t0 9 p.m. featuring $5 wine and beer, $7 cocktails and $9 flamingo punch.
Tipsy Flamingo is currently in its soft opening phase operating on limited hours from Tuesday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. For more info, make sure to check out their website here!
