This Floating Tiki Hut In Key West Is A Secluded Tropical Paradise

Talk about glamping to escape the hustle and bustle of the city! This tiki hut in the middle of the bay in Key West takes the average city break to a whole new, isolated level. So if you’re looking to get a break from civilization, this might just be the spot for you.

The tropical-themed Tiki Suite is anchored in the middle of Key West waters and combines the best of boating life, home comforts and glamping to provide guests with a truly unique and paradisiacal experience.

When you arrive to the hut-shaped boat, you’ll find its packed with all the necessary luxuries for a totally awesome getaway. Glamourously decorated with Brazilian hardwood flooring, the thatched-roof hut has been designed to promote maximum cooling efficiency from the hot Florida sun as well as protection from those passing rain showers without the need to be all closed up.

Among other ammenities, inside you’ll find a working AC system, running hot water, a full bathroom, electric lights, outlets and even a K-cup coffee machine and a microwave! You know, all the musts for off-grid-living. The king-sized bed has been thoughtfully positioned so that you can wake up to the breathtaking view of the Florida sunrise over the water, that you can gawk at through the huts giant French windows.

Oh, and did we mention the hut also comes with an Alexa system so you can tell her to turn the lights and music on once the sun goes down?

The hut also comes with a roto-molded cooler that can keep ice for 9 days to keep your beverages and food cold. Just make sure to bring your own ice so your food doesn’t go bad.

While staying at this totally iconic floating hut, you’ll also be able to make use of stand-up paddleboards and snorkel gear to help you explore the local wilderness where you’ll probably catch sight of plenty of tropical birds, manatees, sting Ray’s, conch, starfish and dolphins.
