It’s time to warm up your backhands for the first Pickleball Day on Sunday, July 9, as the Miami Marlins take on the Phillies! loanDepot Park’s West Plaza will transform into a Pickledome, hosting 4 courts for anyone ready to smash a championship shot, and the sport’s biggest player, Anna Leigh Waters, will serve off the first pitch. Two iconic bars are joining forces for one night of cocktail magic! Last year, Cafe La Trova visited Mexico City for a bar takeover at Rayo, #17 on North America’s 50 Best Bars list; but this year Rayo is making its way to Miami. On July 10 — for one day only — enjoy a Master Class from 1 to 3 p.m., led by Rayo’s Tito Pin Perez and Alvaro Garcia, in which guests will learn the magic behind the bar’s philosophy and its unique cocktails, followed by an unforgettable bar takeover from 7 to 10 p.m. Expect a line-up of Rayo’s vibrant, artisanal cocktails alongside Cafe La Trova’s iconic classics.
32. Fall down the rabbit hole at this Wonderland Cirque Adventure
Fans of the beloved story are invited to follow Alice down to Wonderland, where she will embark on a series of wild circus adventures on July 28-29 at the Arsht Center! Experience all your favorite characters, including The White Rabbit, The Mad Hatter, The Cheshire Cat and The Queen of Hearts, played by acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, dancers and contortionists. The all-star cast, which has appeared in Cirque du Soleil, The Greatest Showman and America’s Got Talent, will perform to an original score starring award-winning vocalist LC Powell.
33. Attend Beaker & Gray’s annual Christmas in July brunch
You shouldn’t wait until December to experience holiday cheer! On Sunday, July 30, Beaker & Gray will turn into a holiday wonderland, replete with ornaments, stockings, presents and even a mistletoe kissing booth for its annual festive brunch in July. Chef Brian Nasajon has crafted an indulgent holiday feast including special cocktails, and several seatings are currently available.
