If you’re craving a sun-drenched Mediterranean vacation without the transatlantic flight, there’s a new beach club for you. Solei Beach Club & Restaurant is bringing the laid-back charm of the Spanish Riviera and buzzy energy of South Beach to the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel this May, complete with luxury cabanas and the soothing sounds of nearby ocean waves.

Spanning 11,500 square feet with seating for 75, consider it your new spot for sipping, savoring and soaking up the sun! Guests can expect a bustling bar serving everything from crisp wines to creative cocktails, and a delicious menu from Executive Chef Gastón Javier Sanchez to keep them satisfied on these summer days.
Sip on Spicy Señoritas, Italian Margaritas and the signature frozen Passion Du Solei as you lounge around or beneath a thatched palapa. Then share an array of “Pintxos” (small snack or appetizer) like oxtail empanadas, Malta-lime chicken wings and loaded mezze boards, plus decadent raw bar options like a decadent “Seafood Colosseum” – oysters, Caribbean lobster, P.E.I mussels, Quahog clams and ceviche du jour.

For larger appetites, opt for a shrimp and chicken paella, Yin Yang sesame-crusted salmon and a variety of pizzas. Those with a sweet tooth can also indulge in Basque-style pistachio cheesecake and Key Lime pie.
Of course, there are bookable lush, shaded cabanas with plush seating, big-screen TVs and direct pool and beach access, so if you and your friends fancy a chic day out or are celebrating a special occasion, Solei Beach Club could be the place to go.
