Get ready to get your eat on all weekend long. Smorgasburg Miami, the beloved open-air food market that draws thousands of visitors every Saturday, will officially introduce Sundays at Smorg this fall.
Located right across from Wynwood Walls, the “Disneyland for food” launched earlier this year, marking the market’s third permanent U.S. location after NYC and L.A. It features dozens of the best up-and-coming food vendors in the city and beyond, giving Miamians the chance to stroll around, grab bites and drinks to enjoy while waiting on line for even more food to try.
But beginning on Sunday, November 13, Smorgasburg will be open on Sundays in addition to Saturdays. And to celebrate the big day, some of Miami’s top culinary talent will pop up at the market, offering a one-day-only chance to sample their signature items. Viet-Latin trendsetters Phuc Yea and Little Haiti’s Michelin Star restaurant Boia De – which will bring their famed La Pollita fried chicken sandwich out of retirement for the event.
The popular market will also be donating the day’s merchandise sales to the Miami chapter of Common Threads — a national nonprofit that provides children and families with cooking and nutrition education to encourage healthy habits that contribute to wellness. Smorgasburg also partners with their own food rescue initiative on a regular basis, Buddy System MIA.
Make sure to stop by Smorg on Sundays this November 13 and every Sunday after that, for great food and vibes that the entire family or friend group will love. Not to mention groovy beats to dance to, thanks to a live DJ, from 12 to 7 p.m. For more information, you can visit the Smorgasburg website here.
