Yes, we’re talking about the ones famously inscribed with ‘Stolen From Sexy Fish’ on the bottom. Over the past decade, the restaurant says over 558,000 of these fish-shaped collectibles have been “swimming away” from tables across their locations and they need our help.
In a playful twist, the Brickell restaurant is asking customers to right their wrongs — though “no judgement, they are irresistible” — by returning the brass holders and in return, be rewarded with a free drink!
How to return a fish and claim your free cocktail
The rules are simple. Should you find yourself the owner of a stolen chopstick holder (this is a safe space), simply bring it in by August 31st. Sexy Fish will then gift you a complimentary cocktail from their brand-new X Menu, a collection of 20 reimagined creations from years past. It features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, each representing a key milestone in the brand’s journey for its 10th anniversary.
For this ‘Missing Fish’ campaign, one fish may be returned per person per visit, and it must be handed to reception before entering. Participants must also be 21+.
