Here at Secret Miami, we’re always talking about the best of what the city has to offer, from restaurants to attractions, bars and cafes. But we suggest you squeeze another spot on that lengthy list of places to visit, because Serena Williams has recently revealed her favorite local spots!
As the city prepares for another wave of visitors ahead of the World Cup quarterfinals, the tennis legend has teamed up with Airbnb to unveil her top picks. Among speakeasies and hidden gem food trucks on the list, her absolute favorite place to satisfy a sweet tooth is none other than Myka.
The newly opened shop on Lincoln Road marks the Madrid brand’s first U.S. flagship, offering gourmet Greek frozen yogurt blended with pasteurized milk and goat’s kefir.
For Williams, the appeal lies in the probiotic benefits and no artificial additives, stating, “I’m always looking for really natural ingredients. I love that Myka uses superfoods.”
There’s over 30 toppings to choose from, whether it’s handmade crumbles, fruit compotes or famed baklava your heart desires. But what does the Greatest of All Time order? The pistachio sauce with the granola, of course!

The sports icon also named Chèvre on her list of local favorites, adding that her go-to order is grilled cheese with caviar. Half artisan market, half sandwich shop, its menu centers around a rotating selection of curated sandwiches built from imported cheeses, charcuterie and high-end pantry staples. And yes, there’s a speakeasy in the back.
Then there’s Chito’s Red Tacos, an unassuming food truck in Wynwood for when you’re craving authentic Mexican street food. You’ll find all the classics here, from birria to al pastor, asada, lengua and vampiro tacos.
Finally, she gave Moxie’s in Brickell a shoutout: “When I’m at Moxies, I’m sitting at the bar. I wanna be a part of all the action. The appetizer to get is definitely the one-pound nachos. Yummy, yummy, yummy.”
