As Rosalía kicks off the North American leg of her highly anticipated LUX Tour, Miami fans will have to wait just a bit longer to see the Spanish star. After having to postpone her two dates at the Kaseya Center due to a family emergency, the rescheduled shows have just been announced.
Here’s what you need to know:
When are the new Rosalía dates?
If you had tickets to the show on Thursday, June 4, your ticket will now be valid for the much-later show on Monday, September 14. If you were going to the Saturday, June 6 stop, your tickets are valid for the rescheduled show on Wednesday, September 16.
According to organizers, you don’t need to take any action if you can still attend the concert. If you can’t attend, Live Nation and Ticketmaster are sending out direct communications to ticketholders.
Originally, the tour was set to conclude in San Juan, Puerto Rico in early September, but the newly released dates means the tour’s finale will take place in Miami.
Why the tour had to be rescheduled
On the morning Rosalía was going to take the Miami stage and launch the U.S. leg of her tour, the Kaseya Center shared the following message:
“Due to a family emergency, Rosalía has to postpone her upcoming shows in Miami on June 4 & 6. She is sorry to disappoint her fans, but the circumstances have left her with no other choice.”
The postponement also affected the singer’s June 8 performance at the Kia Center in Orlando, which has now been scheduled to September 9.
While the delay means more of a wait for local fans eagerly awaiting her return to the city since the 2022 Motomami World Tour, the newly rescheduled shows promise to bring the theatrical spectacle that the LUX era is known for. The tour supports her critically acclaimed fourth studio album, LUX, marking her first all-arena global run.
