We know you all have your calendars marked for the release of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ on October 3rd, but you might want to make room for more as Taylor Swift is heading back to the big screen! To celebrate her forthcoming 12th studio album, a special release party — or a *dazzling* soirée, as Swift puts it — is inviting fans to their local theaters for the premiere of a music video and BTS footage.
Running for nearly 90 minutes, the screenings will feature an exclusive look behind the scenes with the pop superstar, lyric videos and “cut-by-cut explanations of what inspired this music,” she wrote in an Instagram post. Plus, moviegoers will get a world premiere of the music video for one of the album tracks, “The Fate of Ophelia.”
This limited theatrical event will run for one weekend only, with thousands of screenings across North America, including at AMC Theatres, Cinemark and Regal.
