The beloved all-day café, known for its health-conscious menu and light chic design with plenty of greenery, has been a Miami staple for several years and it’s now made its way to South Miami.
Finally opening its doors on Friday, September 23, Pura Vida’s newest location is steps away from Sunset Place and the University of Miami. The 2,370 square foot space features indoor seating in their signature minimalistic wooden tones, as well as outdoor seating with their adorable blue umbrellas.
Some menu highlights include their famous all-day breakfast items like the perfect egg sandwich and overnight oats, vegan lentil and mango salmon bowls, açaí bowls made with raw organic Brazilian açaí and fresh juices. And to celebrate their opening, they’ll be introducing a new ‘Blueberry Cake’ to be offered exclusively at the South Miami location before rolling out store-wide.
This will be Pura Vida’s 12th location to date, along with Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Edgewater, Miami Design District, Brickell, Fort Lauderdale, Bay Harbor, Aventura and West Palm Beach locations. But the expansion doesn’t stop there. Up next, Pura Vida has plans to open a café in Coconut Grove.
Founded in 2012 by husband-and-wife duo, Jennifer and Omer Horev, to serve as a place for friends and family to gather, Pura Vida has taken over the health-centric culinary scene in the city.
“We are constantly amazed and humbled at how well-received our brand has been, and continues to be, in the different communities we branch into,” Omer Horev said in a press release. We’ve had our eyes set on South Miami for some time now and we’re thrilled to finally be bringing this dream to fruition.”
Pura Vida South Miami is located at 6022 South Dixie Highway, South Miami, 33143. They open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here to visit their website.
