Artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer masterfully implements cutting-edge technology to create interactive installations, and you can see one of his works right here in Miami.
Situated inside Superblue Miami and filled with 3,000 suspended lightbulbs, Pulse Topology invites you to visualize your own heartbeat like never before.
In this dynamic work of art, sensors detect your heartbeat, adding it to the glowing canopy of lights in a mesmerizing, rhythmic symphony. When your heartbeat joins the others, the oldest heartbeat is replaced, creating a poetic exchange.

Pulse Topology presents the perfect opportunity to slow down and reflect upon the beauty of life. The luminous installation explores themes of shared humanity and anonymity, as each light bulb glimmers to the pulse of a different participant.
Whether you want to visit with a partner, friends, family, or solo, the artwork shares a profound experience with its viewers. Outside of regular hours, Superblue Miami occasionally hosts breathwork and sound healing classes within the Pulse Topology exhibition space.
Light up your Valentine’s season at Superblue Miami!
