Pinecrest Gardens is once again shining bright for the holiday season for its Nights of Lights, giving Miamians of all ages the chance to frolic in some seasonal fun! The beloved light show, which is set to start this Sunday, December 11, is filled with dazzling displays.
Every evening, the 14-acre garden will transform into a winter wonderland illuminated by thousands of lights that will wrap all around the majestic botanical landscape. A pathway takes guests through awe-inspiring decorations, from giant illuminated ornaments to adorable animals.
It’s quite magical once you walk through, and it’s perfect for all the holiday photos you might need on your feed or this year’s holiday card. This December, they’ll be adding on sections of holiday lights and an even bigger holiday-themed maze!
Nights of Lights will also include yummy treats, a holiday bazaar with locally-made gift items and activities with Santa. You might catch an appearance by the jolly man himself or a story time with Mrs. Claus. Additionally, live performances will be held at the Banyan Bowl amphitheater on certain nights, including Maria Verdeja’s Nutcracker on Dec. 17, She Jazz Project on Dec. 18 and the Homestead Mariachi Conservatory on Dec. 22.
On a walk through Pinecrest Gardens during the day (and year-round), you’ll find over 1,000 varieties of rare and exotic tropical plants and palm trees in addition to natural streams, caves and other structures. Formerly Parrot Jungle, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.
The annual event is a can’t-miss opportunity to embrace the holiday season! Pinecrest Gardens’ Nights of Lights will return on Sunday, December 11 and will run through January 1, 2023 (closed on December 31). The holiday-themed maze will take place nightly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 11000 SW 57th Ave, Pinecrest, FL 33156.
