January’s transfer window has been long shut. But, has Neymar just agreed to a deal-in-principle to join Inter Miami?
Well, this video suggests just that. A deal with a 10-year deadline, that is. [Main Image: @neymarjr].
Just before their first MLS season begins, this offers a glimpse into an exciting future, regardless of how successful their birth is.
Miamian’s would love the monolithic soccer star to sign for them right now. However, they’ll have to wait a little longer before any chance of Neymar holding up their jersey.
The 28-year old Brazilian star was filmed in a video shaking hands on a deal to join David Beckham’s club within 10 years. He also signed a blank piece of paper at the request of Mr. Beckham.

This, of course, would most-likely see Neymar in the twilight of his career. But, come on. Who wouldn’t want to see his dazzling skills in action for their very own club? You’d forever get to boast that you got to witness one of the very best ever in your team’s jersey.
Neymar later said that Beckham was a “great inspiration” to him.
“And I always followed David because of the way he kicked the ball, because of the amazing passes he gave, because of his goals, because of his determination on the pitch,” he continued.
“I respect you very much because you made your career, and you are still making it, so you are a great inspiration to me.”
It seems the admiration is mutual!
