Did someone say “free donuts”? National Donut Day falls on June 5 this year, and Voodoo Doughnut is getting in on all the fun with their decadent delights — on the house!
Known for their famous pink boxes and over 30 varieties, locations across the country are celebrating with free donuts, pink tote bags and limited-edition pink versions of fan favorites.
What’s the catch? Well, you have to just be a Fan Club member. If you’re not already, don’t sweat it! You can create an account for free on their website.
Once a member, keep an eye on your inbox to redeem (no purchase necessary) and simply head to your nearest location to collect the free treat of your choice. Guests must be signed up to the Fan Club before June 5 to received the offer.
You’ll also want to get there are soon as it opens, as the first 100 guests will receive a free pink box foldable tote with a purchase, while supplies last.
Falling on the first Friday of June each year, National Donut Day is an annual holiday celebrating the beloved treat and the women who served donuts to soldiers during World War I, also known as Salvation Army Lassies. It’s become a nationally celebrated event with various donut shops giving away treats of their own, from Krispy Kreme to Dunkin’.
The promotion is available at all Voodoo Doughnut shops except for the Universal CityWalk and airport locations. Beginning as a hole-in-the-wall shop in Portland, Oregon, there’s currently only one Miami location in Wynwood. You can find it at 2401 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL.
