If you just can’t get enough of Italian food in the city, then there’s an exciting new arrival for all your pasta, pizza and antipasti needs! Los Angeles favorite — and notoriously hard-to-get-into spot — Mother Wolf is opening its third outpost in Miami Design District, following locations in Hollywood and The Fontainebleau casino in Las Vegas.
The eatery first made waves in 2022, boasting a staggering 1,500-person waitlist ahead of its opening in L.A. With its warm ambient lighting, vintage chandeliers and red leather banquettes, it became an absolute must-visit for every Angeleno, including celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen and Mark Wahlberg.
Under the helm of James Beard Award-winning chef Evan Funke, with the support of Ten Five Hospitality, the menu takes guests on an indulgent journey through Rome with classic dishes such as their legendary cacio e pepe, rigatoni all’amatriciana and spaghettone alla gricia. Other Italian fare includes thin Roman pizzas and whole branzino, as well as fried squash blossoms and artichokes.
The original restaurant also features a glass-enclosed pasta-making “lab” at the center of its dining room, where guests can witness the preparation of each hearty dish.
Mother Wolf in the Design District is scheduled to open its doors this fall on the corner of 39th Street and Second Avenue. It’s best to keep an eye out on any upcoming details, seeing as reservations are nearly impossible to come by! Learn more on their website.
