We love the tennis fever that takes over the Magic City with the Miami Open every March, and this year is shaping up to be as exciting. Presented by Itaú, fans are looking forward to this star-studded social event, and the stage is set for an incredible two weeks of world-class matches! Whether you’re cheering from courtside or watching all the action on screen, here’s everything you need to know to get in on the action.
When and where is the Miami Open?
This year, the Miami Open returns from Sunday, March 15 to Sunday, March 29. As has been the tradition since 2019, it all goes down on nearly 30 courts at the Hard Rock Stadium — giving it the unique title of being the only major tennis tournament played inside an NFL stadium!
What’s the schedule?
The tournament kicks off with qualifying rounds from March 15 to March 17, and the main draw action begins on March 18. The tension builds until the final weekend, with the Women’s Singles Final on Saturday, March 28 and the Men’s Singles Final on Sunday, March 29.

Which players can we expect to see?
The 2026 is absolutely stacked with nearly all of the world’s top 10 players. On the men’s side, all eyes are on defending champion Jakub Mensik, who stunned the tennis world here last year. He’ll be facing heavy hitters like World No. 1 Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. In the women’s draw, World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka returns to defend her title against a powerhouse lineup including Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff and Elena Rybakina (who is looking to finally grab the trophy after recent runner-up finishes).
What are the special theme days?
In case you didn’t know, the Miami Open is as much as festival as it is a sporting event. This year features several themed days:
- March 17: Women’s Empowerment Day
- March 18: Brazilian Heritage Day
- March 19: Hispanic Heritage Day
- March 24: “Fourth Wing” Night

How can I get tickets?
If you want to see the intensity up close, head to the Miami Open website. Options range from single session seats and multi-session packages to suites and luxury seating. For those who want to wander, grounds passes are also available.
Where can I watch the Miami Open on TV?
If you can’t make it to Miami Gardens, you don’t have to miss a swing! The Miami Open will be broadcast live on the Tennis Channel and available for streaming on Tennis TV. And, of course, you can always head to one of Miami’s best sports bars to watch the finals with a crowd!
