Be there… the Fair! Nothing screams the start of spring quite like a day at the fair to make new memories and relive nostalgic childhood moments. And the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair is sure to give us a happy helping of both as it makes its annual return!
With a new “Wild About the Fair” theme, this year’s event runs from March 12 through April 5 (closed on March 16-17 and March 30-31). Alongside its traditional lineup of thrilling rides and carnival games, it’ll feature a brand-new Safari Encounter by Immersive Productions, where life-like animatronic animals from around the world take over Arnold Hall.
Of course, attendees will be able to enjoy the return of rides like Crazy Mouse, the giant wheel, bumper cars, Euroslide, Blizzard, Pharaoh’s Fury, tilt-a-whirl, mega drop and so much more. And the fun doesn’t stop at the attractions! You can wander the grounds for delicious food from over 150 stands. We’re talking deep fried Oreos, elephant ears, corndogs, shish kabobs, fresh-squeezed lemonade and all your other nostalgic favorites.
Let’s not forget about all the adorable farm animals you can see! Stop by the petting zoo and interact with the adorable goats, rabbits and cows, or learn about exotic animals with Shadows Reptiles. They’ve also got a pig race, sea lion show and other fun
for fairgoers of all ages. That includes the beloved circus and an ice skating show celebrating the beauty and spirit of the wild.
