According to the latest forecast, a blast of arctic air plunging south through the U.S. will deliver the chilliest temperatures of the season, in time for the countdown.
New Year’s Weather in Miami
Whether you’re mapping out your New Year’s Eve party plans or heading to the Orange Bowl, you’ll can definitely expect it to be colder than last year! The weather is set to take a serious plunge as the front sweeps through on Tuesday. Although Wednesday and Thursday will see the lowest temperatures in the lower 50s and upper 40s, according to the National Weather Service.

Daytime highs will struggle to reach the 70s on both days before temperatures return to normal (mid-to-upper 70s) by the following weekend. It’s the perfect way to kick off 2026 with a true taste of winter, although it won’t stick around for very long.
