Everybody loves a good comeback, and this beloved Brickell hotspot is making theirs in the form of a new look, new menu and an entirely elevated experience. Talk about a perfect glow up!
After a summer-long closure and $4 million worth of renovations, Marion Miami is reopening today to welcome back patrons, partygoers and cocktail lovers alike. The neighborhood gem first opened in 2015, becoming an upscale mainstay of the city and hosting its popular Thursday night soirées.
If you’re wondering what’s changed about the restaurant, the nightlife certainly isn’t going anywhere! Guests will continue to be treated to live performances by a roster of artists, singers and dancers, transforming the refined dining experience to exhilarating late-night revelry.
As for its appearance, the restaurant’s bold new look is best described as fusing nostalgic allure with modern sophistication. Carlos Rodriguez of interior design studio Escala Forma is behind the transformation, which breathes new life to the already iconic venue. There’s a sophisticated yet playful theme, featuring rich pink hues and cozy tones to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Upon entering, diners are greeted by 15 custom Murano flower chandeliers imported from Italy, and the outdoor terrace has been entirely revamped for an open-air dining ambiance with lush foliage and comfortable seating. Best of all, the ceiling transforms into a colorful LED-paneled disco as the night unfolds!
Marion’s new chapter also calls for a new menu, crafted by Executive Chef Kylian Goussot and featuring a bold fusion of Asian-Mediterranean flavors. New additions include Truffle Prime Beef Tartare, Kobe Roll, Lobster Tempura, Chilean Sea Bass and Prime Skirt Steak Tagliata.
To pair with your meal, the restaurant is also introducing a sophisticated wine program and innovative cocktails, from the tequila and mezcal-fueled Dirty Dancing to a tiki-inspired concoction known as Wild Things and Basic Instinct, the restaurant’s take on a Paloma.
Additionally, the redesign also called for an opulent, new Dom Pérignon Champagne display and Tequila Room, which replaces the former wine room. Adjacent to the main bar, this luxurious spot boasts a collection of over 300 premium bottles.
Check out their makeover for yourself! Marion Miami is located at 1111 SW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33130 and is open from 7 p.m. until late, Tuesday to Saturday.
