Let yourself be enchanted by LUZIA, a Cirque du Soleil production that charmed cities like NYC, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. The “surreal-realist immersion into Mexican culture” is stopping by our very own Miami, blending culture, nature and mythology into a captivating performance under the Cirque du Soleil big top.
Inspired by light (“luz” in Spanish) and rain (“lluvia”,) Luzia will transport the audience into an imaginary Mexico: vibrant colors, fantastical sets and breathtaking artistry draft a “surreal love letter” to the country, starting February 2026. Secure tickets to this unique production:

What is LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil about?
LUZIA will take attendees through an arid desert, an abandoned cinema, cinematic scenes of the ocean and more, capturing the beauty of Mexico in dazzling fashion.
On top of impressive sets, Cirque du Soleil goes beyond the limits of human anatomy. Aerial artists and hoop divers defy gravity, capturing the soul through incredible stunts and acrobatics. A giant monarch butterfly, Mexican speed juggling… all tell the story of an imaginary Mexico that overflows with colors and fantasy.

A show driven by 2,600 gallons of water
What makes LUZIA special is its use of water to fuel the artistic performance. A first for a Cirque du Soleil touring show, this process demands the water remain at a temperature of 102°F and undergo constant filtration. During the performance, the water makes its way through 94,657 small openings that all lead to a bigger basin under the stage. After the show, it’s cleaned and reused for the next performance.
Mesmerizing cascades and breathtaking rainfall create a storyline like no other — a technical feat almost as impressive as the show itself!
