After two incredible performances at the Kaseya Center for her MAYHEM Ball Tour, Lady Gaga canceled her third and final Miami show due to significant vocal strain and medical advice. In fact, the news came just minutes before the concert was set to start.
The singer took to Instagram to give her fanbase the update:
“Hi everyone I am really so so sorry but I need to postpone tonight’s show in Miami. During rehearsal last night and my vocal warmup tonight my voice was extremely strained and both my DR and vocal coach have advised me not to go on because of the risk it poses.”
The post continued: “I want to be hardcore and just push through this for you but I don’t want to risk long term or permanent damage on my vocal cords. There is a significant risk based on all our combined experience with a show like ours and as you know I sing live every night — and even though this was a hard and agonizing decision I would be more afraid of the long term implications on my voice.”
She expressed regret for disappointing fans while explaining that she worked hard to avoid the situation, adding, “I love my fans so much, respect you and hope you can accept my sincere regretful apology.”

Fans can expect a rescheduled date to be announced, with the Kaseya Center taking to social media shortly after, saying: “Information on the rescheduled date and the process for refunds will be issued soon.”
Videos posted to social media after the announcement show crowds of people outside the arena:
During the final stop of her 2022 Chromatica Ball tour in Miami, Gaga was forced to cut her show short due to severe weather conditions. She had just a handful of songs left in her set before lightning began to strike, causing her to thank fans and urge them to go home safely.
