J Balvin is celebrating his Miami show with a one day pop-up featuring his iconic Rayo car — and you’re invited!
The “Prince of Reggaeton’s” 1997 Volkswagen Pointer will be parked at El Car Wash’s Doral location on March 8th, where you can see it in all its metallic glory!
Balvin’s seventh album of the same name highlights the vehicle on its cover, which is actually the first car he owned. It started as a modest, simple red car. But today, its fresh chromed aesthetic features a powerful sound system to blast music, a sleek white interior, rims with his signature smiley face and other details.
“For me, Rayo is more than just a car. It’s a symbol of my early days in music. It was there when my first songs came to life, my companion through late-night travels, first shows, studio sessions and those unforgettable moments chasing my dreams with friends in Colombia,” said Balvin. “Without Rayo, many of those memories might not have been possible.”
What to expect
Saturday’s El Car Wash event will feature some seriously cool giveaways, live music and exciting fan interactions. Five lucky attendees will win a pair of tickets to Balvin’s highly anticipated tour stop at the Kaseya Center on March 22nd. One guest will also receive a month of free car washes in addition to tickets.
The free and open-to-the-public event will also feature a live broadcast by Univision Mix 98.3, providing music and fan engagement. Gift bags containing a keychain, air freshener and towel will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Find all the details below:
