It’s looking like Miamians may no longer need to travel to Los Angeles to experience its most luxurious grocery store and viral celebrity smoothies (think Hailey Bieber’s Strawberry Glaze, Tyla’s Bliss and Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet).
It all began Tuesday with a cryptic Instagram post, in which Erewhon posted multiple maps of major U.S. cities, including Miami. “A Taste of Erewhon Shipping to Your City. Coming soon,” the caption reads.
At the time of publication, the post has garnered over 90,000 likes, with many comments expressing joy over the artisanal grocer making its way to their cities. But get this: Erewhon edited the caption shortly after posting, which originally read, “The Taste of Erewhon in Your City. Coming soon.”
So before you start budgeting for $20 smoothies, it appears Erewhon won’t be opening a physical Miami store, but instead may plan on shipping its goods to the city. The brand currently has 10 locations, all of which are based in California. However, an announcement was made in September of a small outpost opening inside a members-only club in New York City, where anyone can order through delivery apps like Uber Eats and Postmates.
Whatever the case may be, we’ll be here waiting to get our hands on a drink!
