Miami Freedom Park is about to be a game changer, not only for Inter Miami but the city itself! An opening date for the 131-acre development has recently been announced along with an initial lineup of experiential businesses coming to its Entertainment District. April 4, 2026 will mark its official opening, just in time for the team’s first home match of the MLS season.
What to expect

Touted as the city’s largest active real estate project, the project will eventually be comprised of over 1 million square feet of office and retail space, 750 hotel rooms and a public 58-acre Jorge Mas Canosa Park. There will also be a total 500,000 square feet of retail and dining and a 25,000-seat stadium at the center of it all.
Rather than just a venue for match days, it’s designed to operate as a year-round destination.
Early lineup of tenants

Additionally, Miami Freedom Park announced that three major tenants are coming to the district next year, including:
- Fever: A global live-entertainment platform known for immersive events, such as Candlelight Concerts, which will host a rotating lineup of ticketed cultural experiences.
- PopStroke: A Tiger Woods-backed golf entertainment brand combining interactive mini-golf with dining.
- Toroverde: An adventure park operator known for high-thrill attractions like zip lines. This will be its first-ever mainland U.S. location.
“Miami Freedom Park is thoughtfully curating a one-of-a-kind destination that blends sport, entertainment, and hospitality in a way that only Miami can,” said Devon McCorkle, President of Miami Freedom Park. “Our goal has been to create a place that offers something new and unexpected on every visit — and this first wave of tenants embodies that vision.”
Together, these tenants will account for over 125,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space.

Construction on the long-awaited park began in 2023, and will open in phases beginning on April 4, 2026. The inaugural home match at the new stadium will take place at 7:30 p.m. against Austin FC.
