Enjoy a breezy, beautiful evening under a canopy of trees at Heartland’s patio in Little River.
One of the perk’s Miami’s eternal mild weather definitely has to be enjoying patio dining year-round. And while the Magic City is home to many a lush, plant-filled patio, Heartland’s little oasis in Little River offers great casual vibes, making it a wonderful spot for a date or drinks with friends.
Housed beneath a gorgeous canopy of massive Bayan trees, oaks and string lights, Heartland doubles as an outdoor wood fire kitchen and music venue. Featuring nightly live music and an extensive wine list, this lovely outdoor spot offers a great atmosphere with a definite Miami tropical-casual energy.
Heartland, which opened last November, is the perfect covid-friendly going out spot and offers a varied (and contactless) menu featuring plenty of veggie options, pizzas and grilled entreés such as wood-fired branzino, lamb chops and ribeye.
As for music, you can expect an interesting rotation of local Cuban, Latin, and Jazz favorites such as Afrobeta and Lemon City Trio to liven up your experience at Heartland.
The patio also offers special themed nights such as “Burgers & Blues” on Tuesday nights with live blues performers and a unique menu of burgers featuring a mysterious “dessert burger.”
The best part about Heartland though is the fact that its tables have been loosely arranged around the great central tree and most have great views of the stage. So no matter where you’re seating you’re bound to get front row seats to the night’s entertainment.
Heartland isn’t taking reservations as per usual, so make sure to go early to guarantee yourself a seat. Other than that, make sure to enjoy this gorgeous oasis at your leisure, kick back, sip on your glass of vino and revel in a wonderful night out with friends!
